Pinch, an eighty-cover cocktail bar has opened in Fitzrovia, London offering a “modern take on Ukrainian vodka infusions”.

The bar has been founded by partners Yana Galiyeva and Alex Ribalicenko, who also owns and manages BYOC Camden, who have drawn inspiration from the traditional Ukrainian drink of nalivka – vodka infused with herbs, berries or roots.

Galiyeva and Ribalicenko’s family nalivka recipes are at the centre of the drinks offering. Infused for two months in-house, flavours include sour cherry, blackcurrant, cranberry, honey and blackberry, and horseradish.

Accompanying the nalivka, bar manager Ricardo De Oliveira has curated a cocktail list with a focus on twists on classics, and there is a tapas-style sharing food menu.
