Charlie Brown's

Class' Scotland bar reviewer Blythe Robertson is in Glasgow to check out Charlie Brown's.

New to Glasgow’s Victoria Road, Charlie Brown’s is a power-packed cocktail hotspot on the city’s southside.

Closely tailored service and community building are the watchwords of the operation with a well-crafted drinks list to match.

In a compact upstairs spot next to a Japanese restaurant, drinks are delivered with loquacious panache. The regular changing ‘community sips’ will deliver drinks inspired by and in collaboration with local businesses.

Their first was in partnership with the local indie record store. This is a bar that has already built a strong following and has an effortless charm that’s instantly appealing and enduringly memorable.

SCORE: 9/10
