Class' Scotland reviewer Blythe Robertson heads to one of the UK's hotbeds of talent - Aberdeen.

Aberdeen has produced many fine bartenders down the years, with a production line of talent populating the bars of Edinburgh, London and beyond after serving their apprenticeship in the Granite City.

To the city’s list of reliable favourites comes newcomer Bartenders Lounge. The interior is a work in progress, a little at odds with the characterful cocktail selection, but drinks quality wins out with some real gems nestled on their list.

And there’s no shortage of skill and ambition shown by Craig, Beth and the team. Take the opportunity to head north and get to know this smart new operator.
