London has contributed four bars to The World's 50 Best Bars 51-100 list, with Erik Lorincz's Kwant the highest performing among them.
The 51-100 list has been released two weeks ahead of The World’s 50 Best Bars ceremony, this year on October 22nd in Madrid, Spain.
Kwant missed out on the main list by just two places, making its 50 Best debut - since re-launching in a new Mayfair site last summer - in 52nd.
Remy Savage and Paul Lougrat's A Bar with Shapes for a Name in Dalston has dropped down sharply, from 35th in the 2023 main list to 61st in this year's under list.
Meanwhile Elon Soddu's Amaro on London's Kensington High Street debuts in the 51-100 list, coming in at number 90.
Viajante87 on Notting Hill Gate, relaunched last year by Veronica Di Pietrantonio and Pietro Collina, also made the list for the first time, finishing 99th.
All five bars that appeared on the secondary list in 2023 - Schofield's Bar, Donovan's Bar at Brown's Hotel, Artesian at The Langham, Swift Soho and Lyaness at Sea Containers London - are not present on this year's 51-100 list.
