To celebrate National Margarita Day, Cointreau has partnered with some of London’s best bars to showcase one-off versions of the Margarita.
The ten participating bars include Abajo, Adam Handling’s Eve Bar, Artesian, Christina's at The Mondrian Hotel, El Pastor, Hacha, Side Hustle at The NoMad Hotel, Tacos Padre, The Berkeley, and Three Sheets.
National Margarita Day was created by Nashville-based real estate agent Todd McCalla in 2008 "simply because he wanted to enjoy margaritas with friends during the winter."
Each year it is recognised on 22 February. McCalla is also the founder of National Drink Wine Day which is celebrated annually on 18 February.
From Thursday 17 to Wednesday 23 February, guests can find the selected bars using a dedicated Margarita Map created by Urban Junkies at urbanjunkies.com/cointreau.
